Cartoon Logo Formats You definitely want to receive your cartoon in at least one vector format (AI, EPS or CDR), in PDF format and in raster format (JPG, GIF or PNG). Vector formats are a big deal. When you take your cartoon logo to your friendly neighborhood printer, chances are that they will ask for the cartoon logo in vector format. Vector format images are scalable. You can quite literally print them the size of Texas without getting those jagged edges that you would get with a raster image. Vector format is a MUST if you plan on having your cartoon logo professionally printed. Beware of PhotoShop logos. PhotoShop is a fantastic piece of software, but it's not suitable for creating cartoon logos - or any other type of logo for that matter. If your cartoonist offers only a PSD version of the final cartoon, you're using the wrong cartoonist.
