Cartoon Logo Design Example
Below is an example of an actual cartoon logo from initial drawings to final logo. The client submitted a couple of photos and examples of the type of dog he was looking for. In short, it had to be unique, memorable and slightly wacky, but the final logo had to still look professional. |
After about 3 batches of 3 or 4 designs each, we arrived at the one shown bottom right in the image above. The client wanted some minor changes to the dog's clothes, but other than that was very happy with the look of the character. Meanwhile, back at the CartoonBall office... we loved the one right next to it - but the client pointed out (and rightly so) that it looked like a morning-after dog, which would not fit the professional image they wanted. |
The three columns above show three batches of designs. In the first batch the client selected the design right at the bottom. Then it was a matter of experimenting with colors and placement in the next batch and some final touches in the last batch. |
Once you select a logo, we have a "clean-up" session where we check things like colors and alignment. From the resulting master image we create and optimize the various formats for anything from professional printing to web use. We provide unlimited formats so if you need the cartoon in a different format - even if it is many years after completion of the design - we will send you the additional files at no additional charge. |
